The story behind a production-ready app in 45 days
⭐ Yep, you read that right. I built a production-ready app —from idea to launch— in 45 days, managing the entire project lifecycle: strategy, design, and code, working alongside an AI Agent as a peer.
The timeline included navigating Google Play’s bureaucracy, specifically a 15-day Closed Test with 20 users. And what I launched wasn’t just an MVP; it was an MDP (Minimum Delightful Product).
The Stack
Expo + Antigravity
The Skills:
- Interdisciplinary knowledge -> Frequently mislabeled "generalist."
- AI-human synergy -> It’s not just about giving orders; you need to collaborate as peers.
- Granular Prompting -> A single prompt doesn't perform magic. You build feature by feature, following a traditional agile product lifecycle.
- Criteria -> You must evaluate the output. AI makes mistakes; you are the "responsible adult" in this relationship.
The story behind:
I’m the type of person who designs and builds everything: my own clothes, my own furniture, and my own digital tools. Last December, I was eager to try Google’s new Antigravity IDE —with a name like that, I couldn't resist. So I decided to build my own weather app because I simply don’t trust any of the others… (laughs).
Initially, I intended to create this app for personal use only. However, I quickly realized the synergy between the AI and me was so effective that it was worth the effort to make it public—and share the story behind it.
🚀 Curious about what a successful AI-human synergy actually produces? If you're on Android, you can try the app here: Google Play
